Our Challenge
During the peak of COVID-19, industry associations like Appita faced significant challenges in delivering their services traditionally offered face-to-face — such as training programs, workshops, and courses.
At the same time, Appita had an opportunity to deliver a staff training program for one of the largest pulp and paper manufacturers in Australia. However, they lacked both a platform to deliver the training in the unique way they envisioned and the budget to immediately develop a full-scale solution.
They needed a minimum viable product (MVP) that could meet strict industry standards, provide an excellent user experience, and secure proof of concept to justify future funding.

Conclusion
By delivering a custom SCORM-compliant LMS as a minimum viable product, Lightbox Agency helped Appita pivot to online training delivery during COVID-19. The success of the MVP allowed the association to validate their concept, secure funding, and position themselves to expand their training services for the pulp, paper, and packaging industries.
